Developer Valve has released a huge look at the production of Half-Life: Alyx in a new update for the game. Players can now don a headset (or not) and walk around the world, being guided by the developers who helped create it. As you play, you will bump into audio that teaches you something about how the scene or section was made. We know that combat in Ghost of Tsushima is going to be lethal, but one mechanic in particular showed off in the gameplay reveal was quickly brushed aside as the video went on. As promised, DICE brought the first-ever look at Battlefield 2042 multiplayer gameplay to the Microsoft stage, as part of the Xbox Bethesda Games E3 2021 Showcase. The video features a look at 128-player multiplayer on the new Conquest, captured from a variety of the game’s massive maps (but mostly Hourglass). This isn’t some stylised selection of scenes, either, we’re looking at direct gameplay capture for the most part, with the HUD and the rest of the UI visible....

It’s not an official design, obviously, but it’s incredibly well done. In fact, it’s sufficiently professional to indicate that it would probably be a pretty great idea for Sony to snap up the rights to it - I reckon a lot of spidey fans would love a Miles Morales PS5 that looks this good. A video shared as part of the Tokyo Game Show 2020 festivities details some of Dan’s moves ahead and gives us a little more insight into how the character is going to work when he lands in Street Fighter V’s final season. A first look at the Cyberpunk 2077 Reaver - a car associated with the Wraith gang - was recently revealed on the game’s official Twitter page.
