The news comes from the official Smite Twitter page, which shared details about Aang, Zuko, Korra, and Naga joining the game’s roster next month. Check out the tweet below. “Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony,” reads the tweet. “Now, they’re coming to the Battleground.” “SMITE is teaming up with Nickelodeon for our next Battle Pass, featuring characters from Avatar: The Last Airbender & The Legend of Korra.” The video features a look at special skins for each character, like Avatar Aang Merlin, Blue Spirit Susano (if you’ve seen the show, you might recall that Blue Spirit is Zuko in a mask with two swords) and Avatar Korra Skadi. Naga, Korra’s big polar bear dog, appears to be the same for both versions of Korra, but is equally lovely in each of them - still got nothing on Appa, though. You can check out the full Avatar/Smite Battle Pass in the video embedded below. In related news, the MK11: Aftermath expansion features Fujin, a crafty swordsman with Avatar-esque airbending abilities. The other Avatar - yes, the one where they go to a planet called Pandora and someone says the worst line in the history of cinema (“we’ve opened Pandora’s Box”) — is still being developed into a game by a dev who worked on The Division. I think we all know which Avatar is the better one, and it’s got no space diggers knocking down forests. Instead it has a cool uncle who really loves drinking tea and a cute little winged lemur who just wants to have a laugh with his mates. Aang, Zuko, Korra, and, most importantly, Naga, are coming to Smite as part of its next Battle Pass, scheduled to release in July.
