Update: Fortnite’s next live event, The Device, and the start date for Season 3 have been further delayed. In a statement released yesterday, Epic Games said: “The live event The Device will be delayed to Monday, June 15, and the Season 3 launch delayed to Wednesday, June 17. We know this delay comes on the heels of another one, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during these difficult times.” This is the second delay in a week for the new season, but there’s not too long to wait before you can jump in and see the latest event and all the watery map changes. In the meantime, you can check out all the Season 3 rumours here. Original story: Epic Games announced that, for the second time, the start of Fortnite’s Season 3 in Chapter 2 has been delayed. The new season will now kick off on Thursday, June 11, a one-week delay from June 4. Fortnite players will remember that Season 3 was initially set to start all the way back in April, but was pushed back two months. Likewise, The Device end-of-season event has been delayed, and will now kick off at 11am PT, 2pm ET, 7pm BST on Saturday, June 6. Epic recommends you log in about 30 minutes early to be able to witness it live in-game, as space is limited.
