According to Deadline, Haley Bennett (Swallow, The Girl on the Train) is the latest to join the cast of the Borderlands movie. While her character has not been announced, it’s said her role is “key” to Lilith’s past. The film also stars Cate Blanchett as Lilith, Jamie Lee Curtis as the archeologist Tannis, Ariana Greenblatt as Tiny Tina, Jack Black as Claptrap, Kevin Hart as Roland, and Florian Munteanu as Krieg. The Borderlands movie was announced back in 2015 and is in the works at Lionsgate which is developing it alongside Arad Productions. Avi Arad and his son Ari Arad worked on Iron Man, Spider-Man, The Amazing Spider-Man, X-Men, and more. Re-confirmed as being in development in 2019, it was announced last year that Eli Roth would be directing.
