Sony announced the rollout will occur over the next several weeks across Europe, US, Canada, and Japan, where PlayStation Now is available. The company announced back in 2019 it planned to eventually offer 1080p resolution streaming. Right now as it stands, the service only supports 720p resolution. Speaking of which, Microsoft is also reportedly testing 1080p streaming for Xbox Game Pass cloud games. Microsoft is said to be testing 1080p streaming capabilities for its Xbox Game Pass service Cloud Gaming. Like PS Now, Cloud Gaming has been limited to 720p. This is to help with stability and stem connection issues. The most recent games to be added to the PlayStation Now lineup for April are Marvel’s Avengers and Borderlands 3.
